At Surplus Disbursement, our Independent Surplus Consultants play an essential role in helping individuals recover funds they may not even know they are owed. As a Consultant, you’ll connect with potential clients, guide them through our discovery process, and help empower them to take action toward reclaiming what’s rightfully theirs.

This opportunity is 100% independent (1099), flexible, and purpose-driven—perfect for those who are self-motivated, compassionate, and passionate about making a real difference.

Scope of Work

  • Proactively reach out to individuals identified through provided or self-sourced leads.

  • Educate potential clients on surplus funds and their options with Surplus Disbursement.

  • Assist with guiding individuals to complete the Discover Your Funds form.

  • Communicate clearly, compassionately, and in alignment with our mission and values.

  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and client notes for follow-up.

  • Operate with the highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Completion of the Independent Surplus Consultant Training Course.

  • Passing score on the final certification quiz (certificate awarded upon completion).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to operate independently, professionally, and respectfully.

  • Access to internet, phone, and computer or tablet for client communication and form submissions.
